Al stayed healthy his first winter. He would stay home with mom while she worked. Al started to have more and more fun playing. One of his favorite toys was referred to as his "loud toy" aka "Happy Making Friends" toy. Its a toy gym with hanging toys that sings a song and moves - a very loud song.
In late January, Al went back to the cath lab one day to check his heart out. It was necessary to check everything out and make sure he was ready for another surgery.
Al started eating solid foods. His favorite first foods were avacados and peas.
Alan got stronger, starting to push himself up and grab at his toys.
